Body for Life
Premise: A 12-week plan you eat a high protein diet and exercises regularly. Its creator, Bill Phillips, a physical-culture and businessman, puts the emphasis on the portions, not calories. You eat six meals a day, every meal is a protein portion and a portion of carbohydrates and some vegetables to add two meals. Once a week, allow one day “free” that may be happy to eat their favorite foods.

The secret to weight loss is body type

Just because you can not seem to lose weight does not mean that you have no will power.

That is a primary Dr. Eric Berg, a researcher fed messages and expert weight loss is for dieters. Their belief, confirmed by research and practical use, that is the key to weight loss is implementing a diet based on your body type.

“We are all different, like snowflakes, but typically fall into one of four body types,” Dr. Berg, an expert on weight loss that has treated over 30,000 cases, he said.

“These types of body are not only physical qualities, are indications of how our bodies metabolize food. The key component to be efficiently and lose weight in a healthy manner begins with determining what kind of body you have, and after a treatment that adjustments to the way your body chemistry work. ”

Hormones are the triggers to determine which body type we have, according to Dr. Berg, and these types represent the different ways our bodies in the process of nutrition. These categories are:

• Adrenal gland – the adrenal gland of the body fat that surrounds organs in the abdomen (abdominal fat) and is called an oscillating abdomen.

• Ovary – the body type of the ovary is more of an estrogen, the cellulite-type fat that is superficial (just under the skin) and especially below the bellybutton. People call this the “Saddlebags” with a lower stomach pumped.

• Thyroid – with the body shape of the thyroid, the weight is distributed throughout the body of the person and not really fat, but something more than to lose as the substance that accumulates between the cells. This condition is known as myxedema, and can be compared to a sponge that holds liquid and do not launch.

• Liver – the body type of the liver is not always a big situation. It can be a fluid problem, where a fluid is leaking into the abdomen.

The hormones that drive the transformation of your body in one of four forms of the body, look at food differently, “Dr. Berg said. “Without a good understanding of hormones, might show that all calories are equal and if you eat less, you lose weight. The people who say this has not grasped the basic physiology of the interaction of the hormone resulting from food. The obvious proof of this is that most people have probably been cutting calories with minimal or ninguÌ? No effect. ”

For example, Dr. Berg explained, fat calories we eat is more dense, but are neutral when it comes to actually create the fat in our bodies. Sugar and refined carbohydrates are, however, triggers a massive hormones that produce body fat.

“Although the protein has calories, consumption of the amount of activated protein hormones that burn body fat instead of the product to him,” Dr. Berg said. “The correct amount is based on your body type.”

Dr. Berg maintained that he understood that his body type is the first step in choosing a diet that actually produce results, instead of frustrating and makes the dieter feel there is nothing they can do a legitimate way to lose weight.

“It’s time to end the myth of the diet,” Dr. Berg said. “If we are all individuals, intellectual, emotional and moral, then must not be too difficult to understand that our bodies are unique, too. Once we understand our own individual bodies, and how processed the food, fat and energy, the sooner we will all lead lives healthier and happier. “
